Our Mission:
Our mission is to improve occupancy and reduce capital costs in the delivery of telephone, internet & video services, lower energy costs through centralized asset management, and generate new service revenues for hoteliers over the Clasix hosted Managed Services Network. Our Vision:
In recent years, the Internet and associated transmission networks have grown significantly in their capacity and ubiquitous coverage. The expanding network of fiber optic systems has enabled Clasix to provision extremely high quality, customized IP solutions. By virtue of IP Network integration with our Gigabit Ethernet backbone, scalable high speed Internet capacity is available on demand for both administrative and guest services in the hospitality industry. In response to an important trend towards hosted managed services, Clasix has designed and built a product offering called TravelSuite specifically for hoteliers, with emphasis on providing dedicated, reliable and secure access to a hosted Managed Services Network for voice, data and video applications. TravelTalk
The centerpiece product in the Clasix TravelSuite of multimedia services is TravelTalk, a premier offering in the hospitality industry for providing hotel guests with very competitive flat rate international calling services. TravelTalk can help redirect much of the international and domestic long distance calling traffic (and revenues), lost to cell phones over the past decade, back to guest room phones in the hotel. This fully integrated IP solution provides hotel guests and staff with premium quality worldwide calling at attractive discounts over conventional carrier rates. The service is packaged to deliver clear value to the guest, and recapture telephone traffic and revenue for the hotel. No longer will the hotel guests be concerned about picking up the room phone to make international or domestic long distance calls. For hotel owners and operators, key business drivers for the transition to hosted managed services include... - Significantly increased broadband capacity now available to support voice and data services All this for a very modest investment, Clasix enables hoteliers to provision and manage the fullest possible spectrum of current and future telephone, Internet and video services, to meet guest and administrative requirements. Distinct Business Focus of the Clasix Hospitality Solution Clasix was established to meet the critical need for next-generation IP networks in the Hospitality industry, for in-demand services that help improve occupancy rates, build brand loyalty, and lower costs. We have accomplished this through the seamless integration of existing hotel infrastructure, Property Management Systems and the Clasix IP Network. The result is significantly lower capital costs, stronger guest loyalty through a greatly enhanced customer experience, new service revenues through the enabling of sought-after IP services, and the opportunity to take full advantage of the rapidly expanding Ethernet capacity to provide voice, data and video services. Conventional PBX vs. Clasix IP Network TravelSuite products were developed specifically for the Hospitality industry to meet the growing demand for a hosted solution over a Managed Services Network for voice, data, video, and a growing selection of IP applications. Details By routing guest telephone services over the Clasix IP Network, hoteliers can easily scale up to meet growing voice traffic needs, without bolting on extra PBX capacity. The Clasix IP Network reduces the need for a large and expensive conventional PBX system, providing guests with TravelTalk flat rate national and international calling available as a featured guest service bundled into the room rate, or as a subscription option. TravelTalk can also mitigate the cost of procuring guest room phones, and the ongoing internal management of this equipment by the hotel. Guest room telephones can be included with the TravelTalk Network Suite, including warranty and maintenance. The Clasix Hosted IP Network is faster, easier and less expensive to deploy and manage than conventional PBX-centric systems. Clasix TravelSuite meets the growing demand for turnkey managed services. We invest in, manage and maintain the latest technology available, so that hotels can offer the IP services of their choice. The Clasix Managed Services Network is built for rapid deployment of revenue-generating services from the TravelSuite menu; TravelTalk, TravelConnect, TravelVision and TravelExchange IP PBX. Better Customer Experience As our core offering, Clasix delivers the cost benefit of TravelTalk along with the reliability and superior performance made possible by scalable Metro Ethernets. Our dual stack IPv6/IPv4 network has also eliminated many of the quality problems of VoIP: “jitter”, "latency” and “echo”. TravelTalk delivers remarkable savings, providing hotel guests with up to 60 minutes of talk time per Flat Rate Calling Package for local, national, and international calling, with quality indistinguishable from regular PSTN connections. Authentication and Privacy Capabilities IPv6 includes the definition of extensions which provide support for authentication, data integrity, and confidentiality. This greatly increases the security of applications using the public Internet and provides access for an unlimited number of devices with discreet IP addressed for connectivity. The level of encryption, of which IPv6 is capable, is a higher magnitude than previously available with IPv4. This means Clasix can offer the equivalent of private line security at public costs. The larger address space avoids the exhaustion of IPv4 addresses without the need for Network Address Translation (NAT) and other devices that break the end-to-end nature of voice and data communication sessions. The Critical Role of IPv6 Clasix recognizes the need to provide the hospitality industry with the unlimited IP address capabilities and enhanced security features of IPv6, in additional to supporting existing IPv4 systems. Centralized Management IPv6 provides enough addresses to allow hotels to identify every component and aspect of their business. Through Clasix’ IPv6 network, hotels can monitor each hotel room; its energy requirements and the particulars of its cost related activities. This means that the hotel can manage each room individually, resulting in significant realizable operating savings. In addition, the hotels can now control this centrally, which creates further dramatic cost savings both in personnel and telecommunication costs. This secure, precise, centralized handling of each hotel room is of enormous benefit to hotel chains with multiple sites. Executive Team:
